Dot NAME Domains

Started in 2001, the Dot NAME top-level domain extension is the sole TLD intended for personal websites only. These domain names can consist of personal or fictional names, aliases and/or other titles people are known by. At first, only third-level registrations were permitted, so if you planned to order john.doe.name, you were supposed to do that under .doe.name. In 2004, however, the registration procedures were loosened and second-level registrations were also permitted. Already registered 3rd-level names remained online.

Through our company, you can reserve your .NAME domain for a time interval between one and ten years. You will be able to edit the WHOIS contacts, to park your domain, to edit Custom DNS records, etc. You can also transfer an existing domain to our firm if you acquire its EPP transfer key from the current domain service provider and we will renew it once the transfer has been finalized. There are no specific requirements on who can grab a .NAME domain name, but in order to preserve the goal behind its establishment alive, the .NAME Registry may verify who the Registrant is and if there is no relation between the owner and the actual domain name, the registration can be challenged.
